MANILA, Philippines – The number coding scheme is lifted as several passengers are expected to travel in their provinces for this year’s All Souls’ Day and All Saints’ Day or “Undas,” the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said Friday.

In a statement, MMDA said the Unified Vehicular Volume Reduction Program (UVVRP) or number coding for provincial buses is lifted on Oct. 31 (Thursday) and Nov. 4 (Monday).

Meanwhile, the number coding scheme for private and public vehicles is suspended on Nov. 1 (Friday).
