2 maritime students held in Tagbilaran buy-bust

TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol –– Two maritime students were arrested in a buy-bust operation here past midnight on Tuesday.

Police Lt. Col. Oscar Boyles, acting chief of Tagbilaran City Police Station, identified the suspects as Ramil Tamsi, 26, a resident of Barangay Calatrava in Carmen town, and Bernard Mehogne, 27, a resident of Barangay Mantalongon in Sagbayan town.


Seized during the operation were sachets of suspected shabu weighing 50 grams worth at least P340,000 and assorted drug paraphernalia.

Complaints about violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act, particularly for possession and sale of illegal drugs were being prepared against the suspects./lzb
