Shabu worth P1M seized in Tabaco City

LEGAZPI CITY –– Close to P1 million worth of suspected shabu (crystal meth) were seized from 12 suspected drug pushers in two separate anti-drug operations in Tabaco City on Monday.

Major Maria Luisa Calubaquib, spokesperson of the Bicol police, said police operatives armed with a search warrant, arrested Richard, Manuel, and Wailan all surnamed Bonaobra; Arnel Vuella, Hubert Loyola, Ruben Bayrente, and Ronald Ruiz in a raid in Barangay San Roque around noon Monday.


Seized from them were 110 grams of shabu worth P748,000.

An hour later, operatives also arrested Jose Boyon Madronio, Dante Dular Ivita, Jesus and Alwin Abaluado, and Rodel Moises in Barangay Sto. Cristo.


The drug raid yielded 35 grams of shabu worth P238,000.
