‘Shabu’ worth P4.7M seized in Camarines Sur drug sting

LEGAZPI CITY –– Authorities confiscated suspected shabu (crystal meth) worth P4.7 million from two alleged notorious drug pushers in a buy-bust on Saturday morning in Iriga City in Camarines Sur province.

Cotton Talento, spokesperson of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Bicol said Ramil Baraguir Modin, 43, and Guiamel Manamden Abdul Kadir, 36, both residents of Parañaque City, were collared while selling shabu to an undercover agent in Barangay San Isidro around 9 a.m.

Seized from the suspects were two plastic bags containing shabu weighing 700 grams.

The suspects are detained at the PDEA custodial facility in Naga City. They are facing charges of illegal possession and peddling of illegal drugs./lzb
