2 suspected drug pushers nabbed in Catanduanes raid

LEGAZPI CITY –– Two suspected drug pushers were arrested Saturday morning in a drug raid in Virac town in Catanduanes province, a police report said.

Major Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol police spokesperson, said Raul Sorreda and Adelaida Trinidad were arrested in their residence at 3:05 a.m. in Barangay Danicop.

The raiding team armed with a search warrant recovered seven sachets of suspected “shabu” (crystal meth) from the suspects.

The suspects will face charges for illegal possession and peddling of illegal drugs./lzb
