Orange rainfall warning raised in Zambales
MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) on Monday night raised orange rainfall warning over Zambales.
In its advisory issued 9:20 p.m., orange rainfall warning was raised over several parts of Zambales such as Cabangan, San Felipe, San Narciso, San Antonio, Castillejos, San Marcelino, Subic, and Olongapo.
Meanwhile, light to moderate with occasionally heavy rains are expected over Metro Manila, Cavite, Batangas, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Bulacan, Tarlac, and the rest of Zambales.
Pagasa advised the public and the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Offices in the areas affected to continue monitoring the weather status.
In its 5 p.m. advisory, Pagasa said two low pressure areas (LPA) are spotted within the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).
