Sytin murder: Wife of slain trader asks brother-in-law to surrender

OLONGAPO CITY –– The wife of slain businessman Dominic Sytin on Wednesday called on her brother-in-law to “come out and face the law” as confessed assassin Edgardo Luib on Wednesday pleaded guilty to the killing.

Ann Sytin, who was present during Luib’s arraignment at a local court here, said the arrest and admission of Luib allowed them to get “partial justice” for her husband.

Luib entered his guilty plea in Olongapo City Regional Trial Court Branch 72 that handles his case.

He tagged Dominic’s younger brother, Dennis, as the mastermind in the November 2018 killing.

Police arrested Luib on March 5 in Batangas province.

He also tagged Oliver Fuentes alias Ryan Rementilla in the killing.
