Former Maguindanao vice mayor nabbed for gun possession

COTABATO CITY –– The former vice mayor of Kabuntalan, Maguindanao was arrested here Wednesday afternoon for possession of an unlicensed gun.

Major Joseph Nandu, deputy chief of the police Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) in the Bangsamoro region, said Nasser Gumbila Uko did not resist arrest at his residence in Barangay Tamontaka 3.

CIDG operatives and personnel from the Cotabato City Police Office Station 3 served the search warrant on Uko.
