TACLOBAN CITY –– Around 100 students of the University Philippines-Tacloban joined the mass protest on Tuesday to oppose plans to deploy policemen and soldiers in campuses.

Sheena Esplago, a fourth-year biology student, said activism, which is prevalent among students of the state university, should not be considered a move to promote communism.
