PhilHealth gives treats to young CCMC patients
The Philippine Health Insurance Corp. (PhilHealth region 7) and its employees celebrate each Christmas with those in need.
In this spirit of giving, PhilHealth employees led by Christmas committee chairperson and planning officer Maria Cristina Ramos visited the pediatric ward of Cebu City Medical Center (CCMC) and distributed gifts and milk packs to the young patients.
They also served arroz caldo and spaghetti to the patients and their parents and guardians.
PhilHealth also brought balloon makers clad as Santa and Santa dwarves to entertain the kids who may be spending Christmas in hospital.
The kids got balloons shaped into different forms, which they requested.
PhilHealth hoped that the activity made Christmas more special for the 80 patients of CCMC.
