NEGROS Navigation-Aboitiz Transport System committed its passenger vessels SuperFerry and Negros Navigation toward relief efforts in Mindanao, after Typhoon Sendong hit the region Friday.

In a statement, NN-ATS chief executive officer Sulficio Tagud Jr. said the company will help transport relief goods to affected areas in Mindanao for free.

“As part of our contribution, Super Ferry and Negros Navigation vessels will be used to assist government agencies, non-government organizations, and private sectors in sending food, clothes, water and emergency supplies to Cagayan de Oro, Iligan, and Ozamiz.”
