MANILA, Philippines — All consular offices across the country will be closed on August 12 in observance of Eid’l Adha or the “Feast of Sacrifice,” the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said.
In an advisory issued on Thursday, the DFA’s Office of Consular Affairs said there would also be no passport or authentication (Apostillization) service that day.
This as President Rodrigo Duterte declared August 12 as a regular holiday nationwide, the DFA noted.

The DFA, meanwhile, said applicants whose passports or authenticated (Apostillized) documents were scheduled to be released on August 12 may claim them the following day (Tuesday, August 13). /je
