MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine National Red Cross appealed for more donations for the victims of Tropical Storm “Sendong”.

Gwendolyn Pang, secretary-general of the PRC, said that much as the thousands of families displaced from their homes needed food and water, they also required portalets, cleaning materials, kitchenware, and eating utensils at the evacuation centers.

Pang added that the survivors also needed medicines to treat tetanus, cough, cold, infections, diarrhea, and skin problems.
