21-year-old woman arrested over P8.8M shabu in Cebu

MANILA, Philippines — A 21-year-old woman was taken under police custody after 1.3 kilograms of shabu (crystal meth) worth P8.8 million was seized in Cebu on Wednesday morning.

A report from Brig. Gen. Debold Sinas, regional director of Police Regional Office 7, said the suspect identified as Judy Ann Longit was arrested at 12:30 a.m. 

Aside from the meth, P10,000 worth of boodle money and P1,000 worth of marked money were confiscated in the operation.

Longit and the pieces of evidence were taken to Cebu Regional Crime Laboratory for examination. /je
