LUCENA CITY –– Police collared four alleged notorious drug pushers in a buy-bust operation here early Friday.

Anti-illegal drugs operatives busted Teresita Escalona, 53; Princess May, 20, and Ruel, 40, both surnamed Meralles; and Wilson Barameda, 30, after they sold “shabu” (crystal meth) to an undercover police officer and an “informant” in Barangay Mayao Crossing at 2:20 a.m.

The suspects yielded nine plastic sachets of shabu weighing 26.3 with an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board value of P48,665. The confiscated illegal drugs were worth P145,965 in the street market.

Police tagged the suspects as notorious suppliers of shabu to street-level pushers in the village and neighboring areas. Delfin T. Mallari Jr. /lb
