Quezon ‘most wanted’ yields P1-M ‘shabu’

LUCENA CITY –– Police confiscated P1 million worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) from a wanted criminal they arrested in Lopez town in Quezon province on Thursday, a police report said Friday.

Colonel Ramil Montilla, Quezon police director, said policemen collared Marlon Rocela, 27, in an operation in Barangay Villa Hermosa about 5:40 a.m.

Police seized from the suspect three plastic sachets of shabu weighing 150 grams worth P1 million in the street market.

Authorities also confiscated a loaded caliber-45 pistol from the suspect.

The suspect is also wanted for the crime of murder since last year with no bail recommended. /lb
