2 ‘drug pushers’ slain in Laguna buy-bust
SAN PEDRO CITY –– Two suspected illegal drug pushers were killed in separate buy-bust operations in Laguna province, Thursday.
In Biñan City, Patrick Arcilla was killed in a shootout around 4 a.m. in Barangay San Antonio, a report from the Calabarzon police said.
This was after Arcilla sold undercover police Patrolman Alric Natividad a sachet of suspected shabu (crystal meth) only to realize it was a sting operation.
Police said Arcilla pulled out a gun and shot Natividad, but hit the policeman on his bullet-proof vest.
A police back-up fired back and killed the suspect.
Suspected shabu worth P47,600 was recovered from Arcilla.
