Pagasa: Rains expected in Luzon, parts of Visayas due to LPA

MANILA, Philippines – Rain showers are expected in Luzon and parts of the Visayas due to the southwest monsoon on Tuesday, after tropical depression Egay weakened into a low pressure area (LPA) the other day, the state weather bureau said.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration on Tuesday said monsoon rains are expected in Pangasinan, Zambales, Bataan, Mindoro provinces and Palawan


Cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms are expected over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon and Western Visayas.

The rest of the Visayas and Mindanao will have fair weather with possible isolated rain showers. /gsg
