10 suspects nabbed in Makati buy-bust

MANILA, Philippines — Ten drug suspects landed in jail after police officers seized from them almost 100 sachets of crystal meth, locally known as shabu, valued at P29,100, during a buy-bust operation at the Manila South Cemetery on Friday evening.

Operatives of Drug Enforcement Unit of the Makati City Police Station, led by Lt. Jeson Vigilla conducted the buy-bust operation in Barangay Valenzuela at 8:15 p.m.

Police arrested Jay Datul, 36; Rolan lindaya, 38; Albert Modanza, 36; Blenn Ocampo, 27; Hazel Sia, 30; Jay-ar Peñaloso, 39; Edgardo Olivar, 54; Nicolas Tabones Rodil, 49; Mark Gonzales, 28; and Richard Olario, 35.

The suspects were collared after an undercover police officer bought P500 worth of shabu from the suspects.
