Albayalde ‘advises’ media: Let’s just be balanced and be responsible
MANILA, Philippines — Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Oscar Albayalde on Tuesday advised media practitioners to be ‘balanced and responsible.”
“Let’s just be balanced and be responsible,” Albayalde said in an interview over CNN Philippines.
This comes after radio personality Erwin Tulfo apologized for berating Social Welfare Secretary Rolando Bautista on his radio program.
In his apology, Tulfo said regarding on his radio comments: “I think I have to tone down and change my style.”

“If you’re a newscaster, a broadcaster, whatever you say can ruin a person’s reputation, not only that person but also his family,” he added.
