According to Philippine National Police-Anti-Kidnapping Group (PNP-AKG), Wang Sing Dong, 33, was gambling at a resort and casino in Parañaque when the two suspects — Yuan Zhong Xie, 32, and Liu Bo, 38 — offered him P500,000 in cash.

Wang was required to pay P10,000 per day and sign an agreement. However, the victim failed to pay the suspects, who then abducted him on May 19.
