Chinese man hurt in robbery hold-up in Pasay

MANILA, Philippines — A 20-year-old Chinese national was injured after two unidentified armed men forced him to surrender his valuables in Pasay on Monday afternoon.

Police reported that Liang Ju Wei was approaching his car when two suspects pointed a gun at him and declared a robbery along the northbound side of Service Road, Roxas Boulevard at 2:48 p.m.

Ju Wei refused to hand over his belongings but suspects hit his head using a pistol and grabbed his cellphone.

Security guards near the area tried to shoot the suspects but they escaped using a black Mitsubishi Mirage.

The victim is currently confined in San Juan De Dios Hospital for medical treatment.
