Adgers Sportswear raps UV-Mandaue Selection in friendly
ADGERS Sportswear skippered by Jonher Espina crushed UV-Mandaue Selection, 97-86, over the weekend in a friendly match at the Sitio San Jose open court in barangay Maguikay, Mandaue City.
UV Selection led by single digits in the first three quarters behind the combined offensive effort of Anie Mosqueda, Gio Antigua and former Letran Knights Dodong Cabahug.
However, Adgers Sportswear outscored UV-Mandaue, 43-28 in the fourth led by Jonher Espina, Jules Alinsub and Meico Lucero to consummate the 11-point, come-from-behind victory.
Espina and Alinsub led Adgers Sportswear with 16 points apiece, while Lucero and Jabines combined for 22 markers.
Dong Cabahug paced UV-Mandaue Selection with a night-high 31 points, as the triumvirate of Trillo, Mosqueda and Antigua combined for 41 markers.
The event is made possible through Jojie Espina the president of Sitio San Jose Basketball Association and club vice president Francisco Cartagena.
