MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 4 earthquake rocked the waters off Sarangani, Davao Occidental on Thursday morning, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
The earthquake’s epicenter was recorded at 68 kilometers southeast of Sarangani and is of tectonic origin.
Phivolcs said that the temblor struck at 9:07 a.m., and has a depth of 165 kilometers.
No aftershocks and damages were expected, Phivolcs added. (Editor: Jonathan P. Vicente)
