Naga youth groups protest poll woes

NAGA CITY – Several youth groups in this city gathered here late Wednesday afternoon to denounce alleged irregularities during the midterm elections last Monday.

Members of Gabriela Youth, Jovenes Anakbayan and a group of college students were among those who trooped to Plaza Rizal to protest the supposed “electoral sabotage” and the emerging victory of 12 administration- backed senatorial candidates.

Two days after Election day, delays in the canvassing of votes due to defective SD cards are still being reported and experienced across the country. (Editor: Gilbert S. Gaviola)
