Defective SD cards delay Northern Samar vote canvassing

CATARMAN, Northern Samar –- The canvassing of votes by the Provincial Board of Canvassers in Northern Samar has been delayed due to defective SD cards that were used in Monday’s polls.

Provincial Election supervisor Fidel Amacna told the Inquirer that 13 barangays had defective SD cards, which affected the transmission of votes in 14 municipalities here.


Only 10 of the 24 municipalities in this province have completed their transmission of votes and have proclaimed the winners. (Editor: Leti Z. Boniol)
