Villar retains lead in senatorial race — PPCRV tally
MANILA, Philippines — Reelectionist Cynthia Villar retained her lead in the senatorial race of the midterm polls, data from the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) showed.
According to the PPCRV’s partial and unofficial tally mirrored by the Inquirer transparency server, Villar was still leading with 24,497,560 votes as of 5:17 p.m. on Tuesday.
Fellow reelectionist Grace Poe follows Villar with 21,415,299 votes.
Fellow frontrunners include long-time Presidential aide Christopher “Bong” Go (19,864,849 votes), Taguig City Lone District Representative Pia Cayetano (19,147,818 votes), and former top cop and Bureau of Corrections chief Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa (18,255,363 votes).
