A tribal leader proudly wore his tribe’s traditional garb when he voted during the midterm polls in Baguio City on Monday.

Bong Cawed, leader of the Kankanaey tribe, shaded his ballot with assistance from his son and granddaughter. The two were also wearing traditional clothes.

Cawed said Election Day was an opportunity for them to show off their roots. (GMA Eleksyon 2019)
