MANILA, Philippines — The number coding scheme for all public utility vehicles is suspended on Tuesday, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced on Monday.
The MMDA made the announcement shortly after a magnitude 6.1 earthquake rocked several areas in Luzon.
But the suspension does not include Las Piñas and Makati and does not cover private vehicles.
Several schools also declared the suspension of its classes for Tuesday.
