LOOK: Early birds visit interactive display of Stations of the Cross in Taguig

MANILA, Philippines — People have started to arrive at the interactive Stations of the Cross exhibit at the Bonifacio High Street in Taguig City on Good Friday.

The exhibit titled “Walkway: Reflections of the Stations of the Cross” is an annual project of independent organization, Church Simplified.

As early as 11 a.m., families and friends reflect and recall the passion and death of Jesus Christ through modern art installations.

One of the stations titled, “The Proof” encourages visitors to write a message on a card to honor a person “who has been a quiet beam of God’s grace” and pin the note on a red rack using a clothespin.

Christian music was also played to add a peaceful and solemn atmosphere for guests while they reflect.

The 14 stations are named as: The Garden, The Betrayal, The Trial, The Verdict, The Whip, The Curse, The Cross, The Two Simons, The Crucifixion, The Mother, The Promise, The Darkness, The Cloth and The Table.

The stations are installed at the stretch of Bonifacio High Street to 7th Avenue.

The interactive display is open until April 14 to 21 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. /jpv
