CITY OF SAN JOSE DEL MONTE — Police on Thursday said the two suspects in the killing of a mother and her two children in Bulacan robbed the victims’ house, taking P200 and two mobile phones.

Police Col. Orlando Castil, chief of San Jose del Monte police, confirmed that the suspects robbed the mother before murdering her and her children inside their house in Barangay Kaypian here.

Police identified the mother as Jaymee Casabuena and her sons Anton Gabriel, 8, and Joaquin, 4.

Their neighbors discovered the bodies around 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday after Casabuena failed to respond to text messages, investigators said.

It was not immediately known if the victims were killed on Wednesday or Tuesday, police said.

Police recovered a knife and an electric cord that were reportedly used in killing the victims.
