Palace on video linking Paolo Duterte to drug trade: Black propaganda

MANILA, Philippines – Malacañang on Wednesday dismissed as a mere “black propaganda” the video circulating on social media linking presidential son Paolo Duterte to the illegal drug trade.

“Obviously a black propaganda,” Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo told reporters in a text message.

In the 6-minute video, a narrator bared a list of principals and their kickbacks which were deposited in the alleged drug lords’ bank accounts.

The drug lords are allegedly using code names in the list.

Topping the list were “POLODELTA-TSG01” and “ALPHA TIERRA-0029.”

The narrator claimed that Polo Delta is Paolo Duterte, as represented by his initials.

The video also tagged Waldo Carpio as Duterte’s supposed “dummy” in the transaction.

Carpio is the brother of lawyer Manases Carpio, Paolo’s brother-in-law and husband of Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio.

He is currently an undersecretary at the Department of Agriculture.
