SC forms task force to probe drug-implicated judges
BAGUIO CITY — The Supreme Court (SC), sitting en banc on Tuesday (April 2), tasked Associate Justice Diosdado Peralta to secure the names of judges implicated in drug trafficking cases for a fact-finding investigation.
SC spokesman Brian Hosaka said the court would not tolerate members of the judiciary who have ties with the illegal drugs trade, nor any “illegal and corrupt practices within its ranks.”
Peralta was directed to communicate with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency which has compiled the list of suspects.
