Woman dies in Taguig shooting
MANILA, Philippines — A woman was killed following an alleged shooting incident in Taguig City on Tuesday night, police reported on Wednesday.
In a report from the Taguig City Police, the victim was identified as Kharima Jean Sinsuat. Investigators, however, said there was no other document recovered from the victim that will further establish her background.
Sinsuat was found lifeless on a cemented alley at the FTI Compound in Purok 9, Barangay (village) Western Bicutan, Taguig City minutes after residents in the area reported hearing two gun shots around 11 p.m.
A Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) team led by Police Captain Antonieta Abinollar was immediately deployed in the area. They recovered from the crime scene two spent shells of a 9-mm caliber pistol.
Sinsuat’s body was brought to the Our Lady of Loreto Funeral Homes for autopsy as the investigation continues to determine the motive behind the killing.
