‘Oplan Sita love story’ proves love can come for anyone, anytime — even at a checkpoint
“You fall in love with the most unexpected person at the most unexpected time.”
This was what Clarisse Lazaro Jao Saddaramil told INQUIRER.net after a post about her and her husband’s “Oplan Sita love story” went viral among netizens on Saturday, March 23.
"Na meet ko siya sa Oplan sita dahil nga nagmomotor din ako then ayun hinanap niya name ko sa facebook di ko akalain…
In a Facebook post of the BuhayLespu page, Clarisse Lazaro Jao Saddaramil, shared a photo of her first encounter with her now-husband PO2 Mohammad Amir Saddaramil of PNP Marikina.
“Ayan yung actual picture talaga na nasita ako kase kailangan nila i-comply lahat ng ginagawa nila tas ako yung kauna-unahang na checkpoint,” wrote Saddaramil.
(That is the actual picture when he stopped me, in compliance with their operation. I was the first one at the checkpoint.)
She told INQUIRER.net that their first encounter happened along J.P. Rizal corner W. Paz streets, Brgy. Sta. Elena in Marikina City last April 23, 2018. Though quite shy, Saddaramil admits that she found her husband attractive even right at the very first time she saw him.
“Laking gulat ko nung ni-add niya ako sa facebook syempre ako din naman natuwa,” she said.
(I was surprised when he added me on Facebook, and of course I felt happy.)
“Nainis nga ako nung time na nasita nya ako di ko nakita last name niya hahaha para natandaan ko haha etc…at ngayon kakakasal lang namin,” she shared.
(I was even irritated at that time because I did not see his last name [laughs], I could have memorized it. And now we just got married.)
The couple got married last Jan. 8, 2019. JB
