2 suspected ‘akyat bahay’ thieves killed in QC shootout
MANILA, Philippines — Two suspected “akyat bahay” thieves were killed in an encounter with the police in Quezon City early Friday morning.
According to police, they received a call from a security guard about an ongoing break-in along Joyful Street in Sitio Veterans, Barangay (village) Bagong Silangan at around 2 a.m.
When police officers arrived at the scene, the suspects opened fire, starting a shootout.

The two suspects were killed on the spot, police said.
Police have yet to identify the suspects who both wore t-shirts, short pants, and black ski masks. /muf
