BUSTOS, BULACAN — The abandoned car where police recovered a kilogram of suspected “shabu” worth P6.8 million (crystal meth) was traced to its owner from Angeles City, Pampanga, police said.

Senior Supt. Chito Bersaluna, Bulacan police director, said the identity of the possible owner would remain confidential pending further investigation.

Bersaluna said the shabu was placed in a green pack with Chinese markings and was recovered inside an abandoned Daewoo car with plate number XKP-622.

Police inspected the car that was parked along the shoulder road of Plaridel Bypass in Barangay Camachilihan this town about 9:30 a.m.

Bersaluna said the packaging and presentation of the shabu were similar to what was recovered earlier in Alabang, Muntinlupa City by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency./lzb
