MANILA, Philippines — EDSA-bound lanes of North Avenue from the Elliptical Road to Mindanao Avenue will be closed from Thursday, March 21 at 11 p.m. until Friday, March 22 at 5 a.m.

In an advisory on Thursday, the Department of Transportation (DOTr) Metro Rail Transit 7 (MRT-7) Project Traffic Management Task Force said this would give way to Meralco’s relocation of power lines affected by the ongoing light rail project.

DOTr MRT-7 advised motorists going to EDSA to take Quezon Avenue. Meanwhile, vehicles going to Veterans Memorial Medical Center may take Quezon Avenue, then turn right at Agham Road to North Avenue.

Meralco will also work along Elliptical Road and East Avenue, where one lane of the said roads will be affected. /cbb
