Police nab construction worker in Albay drug buy-bust

LEGAZPI CITY – Police anti-narcotics agents have arrested an alleged pusher of “shabu” (crystal meth) in a buy-bust operation in Camalig town in Albay province.

Richard Paul Roa, 37, a construction worker and resident of Barangay (village) Calzadaman in neighboring Guinobatan town, was collared by police operatives in Purok (zone) 1 Barangay (village) Ilawod at 9:45 p.m. Sunday.

Seized from the suspect were nine plastic sachets of shabu with estimated street value of P55,000.

The suspect is currently detained at the town police station pending the filing of charges against him. /kga
