OROQUIETA CITY, Philippines  – A former mayor of Midsalip town in Zamboanga del Sur was arrested for drugs in Oroquieta City Friday afternoon.

Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and local police officers arrested former mayor Liwaya Angcap and her common-law partner Leander Lumantas after a search was conducted inside their store and house in Barangay Talairon, Oroquieta City.

Angcap is the daughter of incumbent Midsalip Mayor Leonida Angcap, who is among the names included in the “narcolist” made public President  Duterte on Thursday night in Davao City,  PDEA-Zamboanga Regional Director Wilkins Villanueva said.
