Eagles rout greywolves

THE DEFENDING champions Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu Magis Eagles started their title-defense off on a right note as they dismantled the Don Bosco Greywolves, 80-45, in the Seaoil National Basketball Training Center Elite League last Saturday at the City Sports Club basketball court.

Agile big man Julius Cadavis topped the Magis Eagles with 20 points while Dave Wilson Yu and Aaron Sing did fine jobs of helping Ateneo’s cause with 14 and 12 points, respectively.

In other games, the University of the Visayas Baby Lancers thwarted the Abellana National High School, 90-64 while the University of San Carlos South upended PAREF Springdale, 71-52. /Correspondent Jonas Panerio
