“Last night. Wala pang napag-usapan. Initial meeting lang. Walang serious talk,” Ejercito in a message sent to reporters.

Ejercito left his father’s party, Pwersa ng Masang Pilipino (PMP), to run as senator under the Nationalist People’ Coalition (NPC) for the May 2019 polls.

Another issue that has been hounding the family is the feud between Ejercito and his half brother, former Sen. Jinggoy Estrada.

Despite their feud, however, both sons of the former President are among the 13 senatorial candidates endorsed Hugpong ng Pagbabago (HNP), the party founded by Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio, daughter of President Rodrigo Duterte. /atm
