2 hurt in road accident in Pasig City
MANILA, Philippines — Two motorcycle drivers were hurt when a wayward SUV hit them in Pasig City on Friday morning.
Police said the motorcycles involved were a black Honda RS driven by Guillermo Dizon, 40, and a red Honda Beat driven by an unidentified motorist.
The accident happened at 4:30 a.m. along Marcos highway in front of the Santolan station of the Light Rail Transit-2.
Reports said Philippe Herrero, who was driving a Toyota Fortuner, fell asleep behind the wheel when it accidentally hit the barriers causing his vehicle to cross to the other side. The SUV then crashed into the two motorcycles.
The motorcycle drivers were then rushed to Amang Hospital by the Pasig and Marikina Rescue Unit personnel.
