De Lima: I do my job in jail

/ 05:36 AM February 20, 2019

Sen. Leila de Lima made a report about her achievements saying jail cannot stop her from doing her work.

De Lima, who was arrested and detained on drug charges on Feb. 24, 2017, said she authored or coauthored 142 bills and 146 resolutions.

She said she also would not stop speaking up against human rights abuses and other issues hounding the country.

“They may have detained me using numerous lies, but this is no reason to remain silent and tight-lipped,” De Lima said.
