MANILA, Philippines — Rain welcomed the early bird supporters ahead of the proclamation rally of some reelectionist senators as they bring their campaigns to the voters of Tondo in Manila.

Hours before Senators Grace Poe, Sonny Angara, Nancy Binay, JV Ejercito and Cynthia Villar arrived at the venue, supporters started to swarm the area clad in shirts bearing their candidates’ names as drums liven up the atmosphere.
