PDEA seizes P2.9M worth of illegal drugs, Kush in Makati City bust
MANILA, Philippines — Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) seized almost P2.9 million worth of illegal drugs and Kush during a buy-bust operation in Makati City on Friday night.
PDEA also arrested suspected pushers Ruth Anne Compra Mabalay, Sarah Mabalay, Tetsuya Reyes and Ryan Christopher Somera during the bust inside a condominium unit along Salamanca Street in Barangay Poblacion.
Seized from the suspects were 73 transparent plastic sachets containing 380 tablets of suspected ecstasy worth P1,140,000.
PDEA agents also recovered 30 pieces of self-sealing plastic sachets of different sizes containing approximately 200 grams of a substance suspected to be cocaine worth P1,247,000.
Also seized were four pieces of self-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing approximately 35 grams of suspected Kush, a cannabis strain worth P52,500.
The suspects, PDEA said, also yielded 23 assorted bottles containing approximately one liter of suspected liquid ecstasy worth P400,000 and one self-sealing transparent plastic sachet containing 27 pieces of suspected LSD tablets worth P40,500.
Article continues after this advertisementAgents also seized 10 bottles of suspected dangerous drugs, a bottle containing 20 tablets of Clonazepam, five blister packs containing 49 tablets of Diazepam (Valium), and six blister packs containing 60 tablets of Nitrazepam (Mogadon).
The PDEA said the arrested suspects will be facing complaints for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. /muf
