Drug suspect slain in Olongapo shootout

OLONGAPO CITY—A drug suspect, who shot and injured a police officer during a buy-bust operation, was killed here on Tuesday.

Police identified the suspect as King Jhon Delavajan, 30, and was in their drugs watch list.

Delavajan was killed in a follow-up operation a day after he shot and injured PO1 Christian Paul Garcia during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Gordon Heights.

Police said Delavajan and another drug suspect identified as Kryzthan Bueno, 26, also in the drugs watch list, sped off on their motorcycle and evaded arrest during Monday’s buy-bust operation.

The following day, Delavajan was killed in an encounter with policemen while Bueno was arrested in the same village.
