6 hurt in shooting by men on a motorbike in QC
MANILA, Philippines — Six bystanders were wounded after two armed men on a motorcycle fired at other men also on motorcycles in Barangay, Quezon City on Monday night.
Chief Supt. Joselito Esquivel, director of the Quezon City Police District, identified the injured as Carmen Dionisio, 40; Abert Daymil, 35; Jorlin Bitales, 35; Eden Timbreza, 38; Cecilio Lacsina, 59; and Alfa del Monte, 15.
The two men fired gunshots as they chased two other men who were also on motorcycles on Adarna Extension at the corner Pilot Drive in Barangay Commonwealth at around 8:30 p.m.
According to Batasan Police Station, which is headed by Supt. Joel Villanueva, investigators recovered eight .45-caliber pistol shells and three deformed slugs.
Esquivel ordered a review of available CCTV recordings in the area. /atm
