MANILA, Philippines – Commission on Elections Spokesperson James Jimenez on Friday said that the official list of senatorial candidates and party-list groups for the May 2019 elections would be released on Saturday.
Jimenez said that so far, 77 senatorial candidates are included in the list but noted that 14 of them still have pending cases.
Jimenez did not identify the 14 candidates.
A total of 134 party-list groups are also on the official list. /gsg
