MANILA, Philippines — At least 960,000 devotees of the Black Nazarene participated in the Traslacion in Manila on Wednesday, according to the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO).

Out of the total, 570,000 were monitored within the vicinity of Quiapo Church as of 11 p.m. of Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the 390,000 were from the devotees following the “andas,” or the carriage of the Black Nazarene.

Data also showed that medical teams scattered around the Traslacion route had already attended to 714 individuals who had minor complaints — such dizzyness, abrasions, bone dislocations, lacerations, and hypertension.
